Terms & Conditions

This website, drevent.in (hereafter referred to as "DR Events," "the Site," or "we/us/our"), is owned and operated by Dr Events, a registered firm offering event management, brand identity, digital, and related services across Pune, Mumbai, and other locations in Maharashtra and India.

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using this website or engaging any of our services. By accessing this website, submitting an enquiry, or booking any service with us, you agree to be bound by the terms set out below.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please discontinue use of this website and do not proceed with booking our services.

1. About Our Services

Dr Events provides end-to-end event management and related services, including but not limited to corporate events, conferences, expos and exhibitions, weddings, social and family celebrations, public functions, and associated branding, decor, hospitality coordination, and digital/marketing support.

All services are customised per client requirements. Final scope, pricing, and deliverables for any event are confirmed only through a written proposal, quotation, or service agreement shared directly with the client — not through general information published on this website.

2. Bookings and Confirmation

An event date or service is considered confirmed only once both parties have agreed on the scope of work and the client has made the required advance payment as communicated by Dr Events for that specific engagement.

Verbal discussions, enquiries, or informal conversations (including via phone, WhatsApp, or email) do not constitute a confirmed booking until formal confirmation has been provided in writing.

Dr Events reserves the right to decline or discontinue any booking where the requested service falls outside our capability, conflicts with prior commitments, or involves activity that is unlawful, unsafe, or against the interests of Dr Events or its team.

3. Payments

Payment terms, including advance amounts and balance payment schedules, are communicated to each client individually as part of the service proposal or agreement for their event.

Any additional requirements, changes in scope, or last-minute additions requested by the client during the course of planning or execution may be billed separately, and will be communicated before being carried out wherever possible.

Dr Events reserves the right to pause planning or execution work on any event where agreed payments are not received as per the schedule confirmed with the client.

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

We understand that plans can change. Clients wishing to cancel or reschedule a confirmed event should notify Dr Events in writing as early as possible.

As event planning involves third-party bookings (venues, vendors, decor, hospitality staff, and other resources), amounts already paid towards confirmed third-party commitments may not be refundable, depending on the cancellation policies of those individual vendors.

Any refund applicable for cancellations will be assessed on a case-by-case basis depending on the stage of planning, work already completed, and costs already committed on the client's behalf, and will be communicated transparently to the client.

5. Client Responsibilities

To allow us to deliver your event successfully, clients are expected to:

  • Provide accurate event requirements, guest counts, and timelines in a timely manner
  • Respond promptly to approvals required for designs, vendors, or planning decisions
  • Make agreed payments as per the confirmed schedule
  • Inform Dr Events of any changes to the event as early as possible

Delays in approvals, information, or payments from the client's side may affect timelines, and Dr Events shall not be held responsible for any resulting impact on the event.

6. Third-Party Vendors and Venues

Many events involve coordination with third-party vendors, venues, artists, caterers, and suppliers. While Dr Events carefully selects and coordinates with reliable partners, we are not the direct owner or operator of these third-party services.

Dr Events will make all reasonable efforts to ensure third-party vendors perform as agreed. However, we cannot be held liable for circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including delays, errors, or failures caused directly by an independent third-party vendor, venue, or supplier.

7. Force Majeure

Dr Events shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather, government restrictions, strikes, civil unrest, power or infrastructure failures, public health emergencies, or other events of force majeure.

In such cases, Dr Events will work in good faith with the client to reschedule the event or find a reasonable resolution wherever possible.

8. Limitation of Liability

Dr Events will exercise reasonable skill and care in planning and executing every event we undertake. However, to the maximum extent permitted by law, Dr Events shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, including loss of reputation, business opportunity, or guest dissatisfaction, arising from circumstances outside our direct control.

Our total liability in connection with any event or service shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client to Dr Events for that specific event or service.

9. Intellectual Property

All creative work produced by Dr Events for a client's event — including but not limited to designs, decor concepts, branding material, photographs, and videos taken or produced by our team — remains the intellectual property of Dr Events unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Dr Events may use photographs, videos, or material from events we have managed for our own portfolio, marketing, social media, and promotional purposes, unless the client has specifically requested in writing, prior to the event, that such material remain private.

10. Website Use

12. Changes to These Terms

Dr Events reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any changes will be reflected on this page. Continued use of this website or our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Pune, Maharashtra.
